I would do very illegal things to have any of these in my garage.
Citroen SM Espace. If you wouldn’t drive one of these, you need a psychiatric evaluation. Or any regular SM, preferably a Euro import. Preferably in this color, too.
VW Phaeton. Also preferably a Euro import, because they just got nicer and nicer over there after VW realized American’s didn’t want one of the most obscenely overengineered cars of all time to be wearing the same badge as their obnoxious neighbor’s blue Beetle with those stupid flowery taillight covers.
Any day, any time, C6 is usually the answer. The heroic (and now very cheap) last gasp of Citroen’s brilliant hydropneumatic suspension, it’s gotta be black with a tan interior. As does every luxury car, in my opinion.
This is the coolest-looking Lamborghini of all time, bar none - except possibly the...
...Miura! This is one of the most sensuously pretty cars I think I’ve ever seen. Not to mention the genesis of the modern supercar as we know it.
Pagani Huayra. This is the best sounding car in history (and probably has the best rear end too). And while it’s very close to my favorite car ever, at least currently, that honor goes to...
...the Tesla Model S. Yes, it’s expensive and unreliable and, come to think of it, so is every single car on this list. But it is incredibly pretty and mind-bogglingly fast, and if I had the cash, this would be the very first thing I’d pick up.
And it would of course not be complete without...
...my very own car, a slightly battered ‘91 Grand Prix SE with no top-end power at all and the brightest headlights I’ve ever seen on a car this old. If I ever have to sell it, I plan on buying it back from whoever as soon as I’m financially able to.

Do those things actually come off? And how?

Pish posh. The roof frame is still there. Rollover protection is fine.

If you’re talking about the SM’s roof, they sorta accordion-retract into the center bar, so when they’re off it just looks like a regular two-panel targa top.

Ask me to pick one? The C6. I’ve always wanted one.

I like your taste sir, but I find your lack of wagons disturbing. The dork side is more powerful than you could ever imagine. Join us and we shall rule the galaxy with hot hatches, shooting brakes, wagons, and converted busses.
Dat sm, tho. Daaaaaaaammmmmmmmmm. Gotta Twitter that shitter she got such a nice ass.

This was eveyrthing I could think up in a couple minutes. If I was adding wagons and such, there would definitely be a new V90, Focus RS, and (unrelated) but I also totally forgot the Grand National.
And maybe a Miata.

That’s awesome! Very few cars have found a way to integrate a targa top without having to get out of the car and physically remove them. The recent Porsche Targa and CRX Del Sol are among them.

96 buick roadmaster with all the options and more faux wood trim than an ikea store given an ls and supercharger with attendant transmission and brake upgrades. Murdersofas live in my soul. Plus i want more vehicles with rear facing seats.

I think the Targa is the only really pretty 911, mostly because they’re all so similar that the little things make a world of difference. And it’s one of the great travesties of the car industry that only two of those SMs exist.

Nah, it’s too whiny and shrill. Same reason I don’t like how the majority of Ferrari V8s sound. Jag and Mercedes make the best sounding engines because they’re low and burbly and get you excited. And the Pagani has deliberately tuned turbo noise, which is the best thing ever.

my list is pretty bad on reliability too!
I’d do:
-2006 E60 M5 wagon (Sepang Blue (audi color) over Cinnamon individual leather. 6M/T. make sure the engine is a Dinan 5.4L Stroker motor)
-1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird (because old turbo 911 turned up to 13.) (painted in Porsche guards red over black leather interior)
-2006 VW Touareg V10 TDI R50. (because race truck. painted white)
-2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat (Plum Crazy. 6M/T)
-1994 NA Miata with a 2014 Ford 5.0 swap. (painted dark metallic green with saddle leather, and widebodied)

I could buy one today if I wanted. Which I don’t, because running costs.

Could always move to Canada! Then it would be C62020! And, if you think about it, that’s only 4 years from now! :P
